Berlin Flagship Store

The showroom and the studio share one address in Berlin-Mitte. The shop faces the street; we work in the back. Come in, pick things up, tilt them against the light.

Getting here

S-Bahn Hackescher Markt or U-Bahn Rosenthaler Platz, then a few minutes on foot. Ackerstraße runs north from Torstraße.

What is in the shop

The full range, in the materials it is made from — hand-cut crystal, polished stainless steel, brass. Vases, table lamps and pendant lighting, candleholders, bowls and trays, and the smaller desk pieces. Photographs flatten these objects. Most of what they do depends on how light moves across a cut face, and that is a thing you have to stand in front of.

Commissions and corporate orders

The work made for the Centre Pompidou, the Grand Palais, SFMOMA and the Museum of the Future started in this room. If you are considering a commission or a corporate order, come and talk to us, or write to mail@fundamental.quest.

Designed and assembled in Berlin by Gunnar Rönsch and Steve Molloy, architects who have worked in crystal and polished metal since 2011.
